🤝 Compatibility:
Electric Yellow Cichlids are best kept with other Lake Malawi cichlids of similar size and temperament. Suitable tank mates include Acei Cichlids, Red Zebra Cichlids, Bristlenose Plecos, and Synodontis Catfish. Avoid housing them with overly aggressive species or those with significantly different water parameter requirements.
🐣 Breeding:
These cichlids are maternal mouthbrooders. After spawning, the female carries the fertilized eggs in her mouth for about three weeks until the fry are ready to be released. Providing flat rocks or caves can encourage breeding behavior.
